went to see rheumy nurse and she gave ma a good check and told me i must stop ETENERCEPT STRAIGT AWAY as it is a rare side effect that it can cause nerve smptoms the same as ms she has also sent me to see a neurologist just in case.I have been on etenercept and it was my saviour as far as relief from ra but all anti tnf have the same symptoms so i am slightly relieved i will n
be more relieved when i have seen my neurologist .

You really are having awful prblems at he moment and I'm sending you a big cyber hug - but thank goodness the nurse was on the ball and has stopped the drug for now.

Everything crossed that there is no lasting damage to your nervous system.

I'm so glad that you at least are getting closer to finding the cause of this! Hopefully it is just the Etranercept and that you can move on to one of the others with similar success in terms of the RA.
